Upcoming 6th edition of Centre for European Company Law (CECL) conference series “Company Law Reform in Central and Eastern Europe: Legal Borrowing, Leapfrogging, and Innovating for a Competitive Regulatory Environment” - Invitation

We are honoured to inform, that the upcoming 6th edition of Centre for European Company Law (CECL) conference series “Company Law Reform in Central and Eastern Europe: Legal Borrowing, Leapfrogging, and Innovating for a Competitive Regulatory Environment” will take place in Warsaw Stock Exchange Listing Hall on 9 and 10 June 2016. The Conference is organized under the patronage of inter alia Polish Ministry of Justice, National Bank of Poland and Warsaw Stock Exchange. The previous editions of this event dedicated to Company Law took place in Leiden, Utrecht, Maastricht and Uppasala. The purpose of upcoming Conference is to create an important forum for debate among experts from all over Europe. The organizers expect up to 140 participants – academics, legal practitioners from Polish and international law firms, business representatives and representatives of financial market institutions. It will focus primarily on company law reforms in CEE states, nonetheless those issues will be presented in the wider perspective of evolution of European Company Law. There is also a banquet after the first day of the Conference, which provides the networking opportunity for all of the speakers and participants of the Conference.
